Hi, hi, hi everybody. Welcome Creative Heart Collective. I want to do a reading today just to frame the election and all of the emotions, whatever side you're on that are swirling around. It's a pretty tense day here and as somebody who's as sensitive as I am it's not that fun. But I'm sitting here in my sacred space and in letting the sun come in and looking at the beautiful fall day that's outside.
And just wanted to bring us into our hearts and center us and ground us as we cope with all of this. It's really chaotic energy. So the deck that I decided to use today is Goddess Dream by Wendy Andrew. I just love her illustrations and it's such a sweet, beautiful, feminine energy deck that I think we could all use a little bit of or a lot of right now.
So I'm just going to take a couple minutes and or a minute or so and just shuffle the deck. I haven't used this one in a while, so I'm just infusing the deck with my heart and calling spirit and the angels, all of our guides, our wise, loving, kind, healed ancestors, to step into this orb of light that's created by the angels and, and and bless this work so only the highest good can be done and that we receive the information and guidance that we need to receive.
So the first card is self exploration number 29, fairy tales and myths. And I do feel like we are at a, at a point right now where we have this opportunity to, to rewrite this fairy tale that we could be living in. So let's see what the card has to say. Deep in the forest of your remembering. She comes in stillness.
She comes in myth, fairy tale, and folklore. She comes with stories of losing and finding, of depths and height, of loneliness and connection. Goddess encourages you to recall those stories of long ago and far away. They're relevant now as they always have been, maybe even more so. You might like to reread stories from your childhood or discover some new myths, folk folklore stories, and fairy tales.
See if they touch something deep within you. That is laying forgotten all these years, and I think this card is really just asking us to call in all of the forgotten magic there. We've gotten lost along the way in so many ways, not just in our recent history, but in our ancient history, where women were revered and honored and the wisdom keepers.
So really calling back back that magic into this moment. Like music distantly heard, initially the notes come separately in the breeze, but as you get nearer, they unite to form a tone. So it's with myths and fairy tales as they take you into a voyage of self discovery. Gradually the symbols, paradigms, and archetypes come together to throw light on areas of inner darkness, bring the healing to old wounds and connections to the inner self.
And I think this really speaks to the collective. We all I read something recently that my perception of. of you is through my own lens. So how I feel about you reflects how I feel about myself. And I really feel like we're in this collective space of wounds that need to be healed and called into the light that's caused this division.
So remembering who we are, remembering our hearts. remembering our magic, remembering our wisdom. So calling in this folklore, the ancient folklore and the ancient wisdom to unite us and to really put us in touch with the deepest and highest parts of ourselves. So I'm going to draw a couple more cards.
So the second card is balance, light and dark. So when we come into our hearts, we really are coming into this place of balance. When we draw up this energy from the earth into the energetic centers of our body, the hearts and pulling down this energy. Sacred divine wisdom into our hearts. So this heart really is this balance between earth and spirit light and dark mind body.
So I'm going to read the card and this is four, which is such a number, of course of balance.
Amaratsu, the Japanese sun goddess holds a mirror in her hand and invites you to take a look at your reflection. Are you shining brightly or blocking out the sun? Are you illuminating or blinding? It is told that Amaratsu and her brother, God of the Moon, once ruled the sky together. However, her brother behaved badly and Amaratsu no longer wished to share the sky with him, so she split away from him and thus carried night and day.
Amaratsu speaks to you of light and dark, for one could not exist without the other, and in shining brightly, a shadow is cast. So coming into our hearts and coming into our spirits and really shining our lights. To me, that feels like it balances out the shadows. The shadows are living where they should.
The moon at night is shining by the reflected light of the sun. During the day, the shine so brightly that the moon can barely be seen. And yet its presence is still felt. Although a great divide has come between the two, light and dark. together share a powerful influence over the order of all things.
Amaratsu asks you to consider the balance of light and dark in your life, the balance of activity and rest, of balance, the balance of doing and being. Does your light only shine when perceived through the eyes of another, or Or can it rest peacefully in the light of your inner being? The great sun goddesses sees your inner beauty and longs for you to see it too.
She encourages you to take the time in darkness, close your eyes and meditation and let the light within you grow. Come to know that there is beauty and power in that which is revealed in brightness and also that which is perceived in dark affirmation through knowing darkness, I can see light. I feel my own inner light growing.
I feel like there was more wisdom that wanted to come through that, but really just coming into this balanced place. One of the things that I've really been struggling with is not getting wrapped up in the chaotic energy of this election season, and particularly of today. It's really easy to listen to the media and get pulled into the fear.
And all of this imbalanced energy that actually overloads your adrenal system. And so I'm really trying to be mindful today of how I spend, spend my energy. So, I don't, I don't want to be pulled into that adrenal. So I'm just going to be called into my inner balance and, and stay there and send love and shine my light and just trust, just trust the process.
Whatever happens.
And so lastly,
The Dreaming Card. Be aware, be aware of your dreams. That's card 11. I love, that's one of my favorite, favorite numbers. Yeah, just dream. Allow yourself to be, to be in the dream time. Goddess is manifesting her dreams from a place of pure love. She imagines and visions the wonder of the natural world, the perfect pattern, the cycle of life. The affirmation here is I allow the messages held in my dreams and visions to guide my understanding of who I am.
Let's all collectively dream of a future where we all have enough, where it's a world where we are led by compassion and our hearts and the sacred wisdom that we all carry within us. And let's dream of a future where we're all cared for. And we live in peace and harmony and all of that.
So big, deep breath and coming back down into the heart. I love you. I love you. I love you.
Excellent selection of cards! 🙏
